This project as part of the British Ceramics Biennial’s health programme, Clay Works involved working on a series of individual projects over six weeks in Winter 2019. The project was about getting to know each other, having fun and developing clay skills.

In the final session at the BCB studio, participants celebrated and shared what they had made and did some collective making. It reinforced the idea that making together (with clay) brings a sense of ease and camaraderie which help us all feel more connected.
